  • All bacterial analyses concerning urine, stool, respiratory tract and wound specimen as well as blood culture and CSF are performed in this section. In addition, molecular methods are utilised for direct detection and identification of bacterial isolates including mycobacteria and Special resistance mechanisms.
  • In our S3-Iaboratory analyses of tubercle bacilli and other critical organisms are performed.
  • Furthermore, the academic staff is involved giving oral presentations and attending ward rounds with Special regard to infectious diseases.
  • The hospitals submitting samples to our laboratory are provided with statistic data about resistance patterns on a regular base.
